OUR TEAM

The people that make it all happen

Bob has toured the world and put out records with several bands back in the 90’s-2001 (The Step Kings, Headlock).

He co-founded Crush Management (Green Day, Weezer, Lorde, Fall Out Boy etc) in NYC back in 2002.  He opened the bar Angels and Kings in NYC, with others to follow in Chicago, LA and Barcelona.  Started brewing beer out of the bar in Chicago back in 2009, then helped start Saint Archer Brewing in San Diego in 2013.

Like everyone who works at APB, beer and music are his passions.

Chris met Mike Pimco in high school where they started the band Kid With Man Head.  While living in the neighboring town of Ocean Grove, the band spent most of their time surfing, writing songs, and drinking beer in old-school Asbury Park.  Kid With Man Head was a staple in the Asbury Music Scene for years in the late nineties and early aughts playing countless shows at the Fastlane, Pony, Saint, T-birds Cafe, Asbury Lanes, etc.  Fueled by fast food dollar menus and cheap beer, the band hit the road, continuously touring the US and Canada with hundreds of bands including Bad Religion, Offspring, & Blink 182.

Cornell went on to start Manhead Merchandising, the world's largest independent merchandising company. They design, manufacture, and distribute merchandise exclusively for such acts as the Deftones, Dolly Parton, Weezer, Jelly Roll, Joji, Fall Out Boy, and many more.

Mike was the singer in Kid with Manhead.  As an entrepreneur Mike went on to start several businesses in and around Asbury Park including Style Rocket, a beachfront clothing and accessories store on the Boardwalk.  Many of Asbury's locally famous creatives have at one point worked at Style Rocket while honing their art, music, and other random visionary follies.

Mike still lives and surfs in town.

Brian is a Massachusetts transplant that grew up running around the Jersey Shore, surfing, drinking beers with his crew and spending hours hanging out in Asbury Park venues listening to everything he could get his hands on. Started a very successful career in the beer business at a local distributor for 17 years until in April of 2022, when out of the blue, he picked up a phone call from Bob Mclynn.

He's still running around the Jersey Shore, surfing, drinking beers with his crew and spending hours hanging out in Asbury Park venues.

Joe is another Rutgers grad who went on to New England Law in Boston.   After graduation Joe came home to start his law practice in civil rights litigation.  He also worked with the municipality of Asbury Park to put on music festivals and other events.

Joe has been working at Crush Music since 2015 where he is CFO and oversees the Kurt Cobain estate.  A true New Jersey success story.

Andy takes an obsessive approach to his craft.  He was first introduced to world class beer while playing college soccer in Munich, Germany and hasn’t looked back. He went on to the Siebel Institute where he graduated in 2015.   From there he came back to Jersey and worked at a few commercial breweries until he settled in at Kane Brewing from 2017-2023 where he eventually became Head Brewer.   He has brewed and helped design several GABF and World Beer Cup medal-winning beers.  Andy's has a meticulous approach to beer quality and is always looking to push boundaries.  He draws inspiration from cooking and Black Sabbath.

Another local, Charlotte ditched her senior prom to go to a show in Asbury and hasn’t stopped since. You may have seen her working at The Saint, or helping a local band shoot a music video on the boardwalk. Music and Asbury are life for Charlotte, and they pair best with beer.
